Things to do
You can do nothing, if that’s what you want.
But there are tons of options in this beautiful area:
Bring your kayak, SxS, ATV, mountain bike, dirt bike, 4×4, fishing gear (may need license) or even your horse(s) as there is access to 100s of miles of fantastic trails in the Tobacco Root Mountains.
Then there are a few hot springs, seasonal snow-patches to hike up to and ski. Cataract Lake is 2.5 miles away (the road up there is fun, but only in a 4×4 or SxS) and Harrison Dam is not too far away either.
Not to mention that there’s Pony Bar just up the street where you can hang out with the locals and have a beer (or whatever you prefer) any day after 1 pm. Live music most weekends.
More
There’s room right next to the Glamping tent if you want to pitch your own tent for your kids.
Or, there’s room in the Glamping tent if you bring a playpen or mattress for your child.
Only pay an extra fee per person for the amenities ($20/person/night for anyone older than 10 years old).
You are welcome to bring a dog or horse(s). And yes, there’s a hitching post at the bar 😉
IMPORTANT
Guest and their pets stays at their own risk. There’s a creek, rope-swing, insects, trees to climb and many more things that could be hazardous if not respected. Everyone in your party is responsible for staying safe by being careful and responsible. Parents are responsible for minors.
Spend all day in the hammock.
Or not.
There are so many options of what to do around here — but you don’t really need to do anything at all. It’s totally up to you.
If you venture up the street to Pony Bar, you might catch Montana Rose playing. Or her daughter Tessy Lou. It’s a treat for sure and people travel from near and far to listen and to dance.
